My Current Favorites

Ahh... I can't believe my blog will turn 1 year old this month! I'm so excited! and YES I will be holding a giveaway soon. Also school ends after 1 month *HAPPY DANCE* When do you finish school? Any how today I'll be doing my current favorites.I have been loving lots of products lately, but I picked the top 10 products that I have been using and loving the most!

1.Macadamia Deep Repair Masque 500ml :
I have been wanting to try this for over 2 years, but I couldn't bring myself to buy it.Since it is quit pricey (180sr ) BUT I love this product to death!! I have dry damaged hair and after I use this mask my hair feels soft and silky.I use it 2 times a week. It's totally worth the money.I have had this for about 3 months and I'm not even 1/4 the tub.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           2.Naruko Peeling Gel:

I bought this off ebay for about $15.It was shipped from Taiwan, and It arrived in less than 7 days.I forgot the sellers name, but she had free shipping worldwide! I have been wanting to try this brand for a while now and I also wanted to try a peeling gel.I read online that it's better to use a peeling gel for acne prone skin than a scrub.I really liked this product, but I don't think I would repurchase it again.Due to the reason that I'd like to try peeling gels from other brands.

3.The Body Shop's Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion:
When I was visiting my relatives I had this really bad break out,and my cousin gave me this to try.She uses it all the time and she has beautiful clear skin.So I tried it and I fell in love, because the next day my pimples were almost gone! I went ahead and bought it from TBS for about 39sr ($10).I was debating which one should I get, because they had 2 different lotion a day and a night one.The SA at the first store was like get both,I was like I want something so heel my acne and not leave marks. She was like they're both the same.I didn't like the fact that she just wanted to sell me the product! Then I went to another store and the SA there was very nice and helpful she explained the difference between them and recommend me the night lotion for my needs, and she even gave me a sample of their BB Cream. Oh I also love that it has a pump!!

4.Urban Decay Naked Flushed: I bought this from Sephora for $32.I love the fact that its travel friendly and is a 3 in 1!(Bronzer,Highlight,and Blush).I like the blush it looks really nice on my skin tone.I love everything about this product except one thing. It's the fact that it doesn't last a long time after about 3 hours it would start to wear off. I like it,but not enough to repurchase it .

5.Maybelline One By One Volume Express Mascara:

I love this mascara for many reasons
-Affordable
-Lengthens
-Volumes
-Cute Packaging
-East to fine

6.Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Erase:

This concealer is amazing!I think it's totally worth the
hype, because it actually conceals my dark circles without looking ashy and grey! It also remind me of Benefits' Hello Flawless foundation, because it has this twisty thing to make sure you use up all the product in the tube. And its pretty affordable (Under $10).I got it in the shade Honey.I like everything about except the fact that the applicator is a sponge.(Which you can see in the pic below) Which is very unhygienic! So don't share this with your friends !

                                                                                                         Not Hygienic At ALL

7-Mac 208 Brush: I love this brush for drawing my eyebrows!I'm the type of person that believes not just the make up has to be good quality so does the brush.I have seen a difference in the way my brows look when I use this brush.Like seriously I'm not exaggerating! But it is an expensive brush. The only con is the price 118sr (Sold for $20 in the USA)

                                                                        8-Exfoliating Gloves:
I got this as a gift from my aunt <3 ! This thing is so amazing.
 9-Rose Water:
I filled this cute spray bottle from Daiso with Rose Water.I have been using rose water as my toner, because it has lots of amazing benefits such as anti-oxidants,anti-bacterial properties,soothes irritated skins, and many more benefits!I will make a different post talking about all that good stuff.  On top of all the good benefits it has for your skin its cheap! It's a win win!
10-EOS Lip Balm In Pomegranate Raspberry:I love this lip balm so much for lots of reasons, but the most important reasons are:-cute packaging -100% Natural -90% Organic -Tastes & Smells AMAZING!!!

1-Mong Leya lotion

2-Himalaya Refreshing & Clarifying Toner: I love this toner, because it's alcohol free, paraben free, and for acne prone skin. It's very gentle on the skin and isn't drying.
I would definitely repurchase this product again 5/5

3-Nivea Soothing Toner: This was an okay toner. But I didn't like it,because it had alcohol and it made my skin feel a little dry.
I wouldn't repurchase this product again 3/5

4-St.Ives Apricot Scrub: I didn't like this scrub a lot.I bought it because of all the hype that I read about it.But it ended up drying my skin and irritated my acne.So I used it as a body scrub just to use it all up. I also posted an in depth review on this product!
I wouldn't repurchase this product again 3/5

Review:[Himalaya Herbals] Purifying Neem Face Wash ♡

Heeey♡♥♡♥
I decided to review a product I bought a couple months ago,but I was of course I was too lazy to do so! °-°  The Product I'm reviewing today is one of my HG!

First, have any of you heard of the brand Himalaya Herbals ?

I personally have never heard about it or seen it, ,until I moved to Saudi. I have seen them in every drug store and my aunt and cousin uses their products, and my aunt always raves about how much she likes them. It's an Indian brand they sell skin care, body care, and health care. And it apparently one of the best selling drugstore brands in India! They are famous for using natural ingredients .

Description:

This soap-free, mild, all-natural cleanser leaves your skin feeling fresh and rejuvenated. It has Neem and Turmeric, herbs we know and love for their purifying, detoxifying and cleansing properties. Neem, with its antibacterial action fights those nasty pimples and prevents their recurrence. Turmeric is fantastic for wiping out bacteria that causes acne. This dual-combo is great protection against problem skin. It helps clear skin and prevents pimples. [Source]

Ingredients:

Neem, Turmeric, Fuller's Earth, Sodium Methyl Paraben IP, Sodium Prophyl Paraben IP, Imidazolidinyl Urea, DMDM Hydantoin. [Source]

Directions:

Squeeze an adequate amount of this face wash onto your palm. Apply it on your wet face, Rinse off.

Packaging & Consistency:

My Thoughts:
Ever since my Aunt recommend this brand to me .I have been wanting to try the purifying neem face wash ever since then. BUT I didn't want to buy it because I might not like it, and when I was in dubai I found a travel size 50ml. And I love this cleanser for many reasons, but most importantly because I have seen changes in my skin♡.

Pros
♧Soap free
♧Purifying herbs (Neem & Turmeric)
♧Comes in 4 sizes (50,100,150,and 200ml)
♧Comes in 2 different packaging a squeezable tube & with a pump
♧Isn't over drying
♧Reduced my pimples
♧Hypoallergenic
♧Lasts a long time (50ml lasted me 3 months!)

Cons
♧The ingredients list is written in Arabic only (I can read it,but for non-arabic speakers it's a con)

Product's performance:☆☆☆☆☆
Overall Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆

Review:[L'OREAL]Hydrafresh All Day Hydration Aqua Gel

Hi!
I'm back with a review!!! I haven't done a review for awhile.Today I'll be reviewing a moisturizer! L'oreal's Hydrafresh All Day Hydration Aqua Gel for combination to oily skin.

 Packaging:
As you can see it comes in a glass jar with a white plastic lid. There is a positive and negative side to the design of the packaging. The negative is if your clumsy like me you have to be extra careful with it,and it's heavy. The postive side is it looks fancy!

Consistency:
It has a sea foam green gel consistency when first applied, but when lathered it turns to a transparent water consistency. It's my first time trying a gel type of moisturizer, and it didn't turn out as bad as I thought it would be.I liked this product, but not enough to repurchase it!

Claims:

Ingredients:

My Thoughts:
Overall I liked this product, but like I said before not enough to repurchase it. I was skeptical to try it at first, because a lot of people with combination/oily skin didn't have a great experience with gel type moisturizers. But it turned out to be an okay experience I would defiantly like to try other gel moisturizers in the future.

Pros:
♥ Nice packaging
♥Lasts for a couple of months
♥Enriched with hyaluronic acid
♥Mineral spa water

Cons:
♥Glass jar
♥Can be drying sometimes
♥Contains alcohol and parabens

Packaging:3/5
Consistency:3/5
Overall rating:3/5

Would I repurchase this product?
No

Tips:Toothpaste for acne? Do or Don't?

Hey!
Have you ever heard of using toothpaste on your pimple? Neither have I until I read it on twitter, and decided to try it out!

Credit:http://ow.ly/ou9Pn
It worked for me,but it might not work for all! I bet you're wondering how does it help in curing my pimple? I asked myself the same question so I did some research and here are the benefits of toothpaste!!

  1. Firstly toothpaste works well (for most) as a spot treatment for acne. The triclosan in the toothpaste dries up the oil and kills the bacteria, causing the inflammation of the skin to reduce.
  2. Secondly, the cooling effect of the toothpaste works a little bit like ice and brings down the swelling that is ordinarily the cause of the bump of the zit.
  3. You only need to keep the toothpaste on for 5 minutes to see a difference. It soothes the inflammation and beings down the swelling in a short time.
  4. While you may not be able to find ice, or expensive acne creams everywhere every time, toothpaste for acne is mostly available quite freely.
  5. Lastly, the calcium carbonate in the toothpaste leads to drying up of the pimple. This causes the pore to clear out (relatively) and can keep a zit from appearing there again.
I have been using this method for months now BUT  I recently discovered that it does more harm to your skin then good!

" Toothpaste irritates, burns, causes more breakouts and scars skin. That’s especially true of today’s toothpastes, which have a lot of whitening and bleaching ingredients that are extremely irritating. So save it for your teeth and use a facial cleanser for acne to keep skin clear!"

☆I hope you found this helpful! Enjoy the rest of you day☆

Review:[THE FACE SHOP]Mung Beans Foam Cleanser

Hello♡
I'll be doing a quick review on another cleanser from the face shop today, and unlike the " Clean face acne solution" cleanser I liked this one~!

Description & How To Use:
Credit: http://ow.ly/ooraV

The tube has a flip cap

The Back

Ingredients:

My Thoughts:
I bought this cleanser, because on TFS website it said that this was for "trouble" skin types! It didn't do much for my acne, but it has reduced the blackheads on my nose a lot.I like using this with my foaming net, because it uses less product and makes it all foamy and soft! I have been using this cleanser for over 3 months day and night and I still didn't finish it!

Pros
♡Reduces the appearance of blackheads
♡Last a long time (when using a foaming net)
♡Affordable! costs 35SR($9.33) for 170 ml

Cons
♡Hard to find
♡not the best scent (I don't really mind it though)

Rating:♡♡♡♡
Would I repurchase this product?
Yes

I will be going to Dubai tomorrow so I wont be posting for awhile! If I have time today or tomorrow I'll try to write some posts to post while I'm on vacation.

My thoughts:
I heard and read so many good things about this scrub, but couldn't find it anywhere! I was super happy when I found it at the pharmacy next to my grandmas. I Use this scrub about twice a week.I feel like my face is clean, polished, and a tad dry afterwords, but with a little moisturizer my skin feels nice! However I disliked the scent, and the fact that it didn't leave my skin feeling as smooth as skinfood's black suger foaming scrub!

Pros
◇gets rid of the dirt and dead skin cells
◆good price for 200ml (26sr ~ $4-$6)
◇a little goes a long way
◆100% natural extracts
◇doesn't contain animal derived ingredients

Cons
◇makes my skin a tad bit dry afterwards
◆contains alcohol
◇annoying scent

Review:[NIVEA] Mattifying Toner with Ocean Algae & Hydra IQ for Combination Skin

Hello!
Sorry for the lack of posts I just havent been in the mood to do anything!Anyways today i'll be reviewing Nivea's daily essentials mattifying toner.I never knew that Nivea had skincare products!

Also I forgot to ask you! What do you think of my new layout design?

Claims & How To Use:

My Thoughts:
I bought this toner, because I ran out of my skinfood parsley and mandarin toner~! I liked that it was easy to find and affordable price 26SR! also I was curious, , because I have never seen a "Mattifying toner"It was an okay toner! I liked that it had a matte finish, but it was a little drying to my skin . If you have oily skin then I think that wouldn't be a problem for you.I also like the fact that it didn't break me out! Lately most of the products I have been trying break me out! TT_TT <\3 ! The main reason I didn't love this product is because it has alcohol!  And to make it worst it had more than one type of alcohol! Which made the toner drying to skin.I prefer buying alcohol free products!

Pros:
♡Afordable ! 200ml for 26SR
♥You can find it EVERYWHERE!
♡Has Hydra Q and Ocean Algae
♥DIDN'T break me out

Cons:
♡Has alcohol
♥makes my skin feel dry and tight

Rating: ☆☆

Would I repurchase this product ?
No,because it contains alcohol!

Have you tried any of Nivea's skincare products?  How did you like them?

Review:[THE BODY SHOP] Tea Tree Blemish Gel

Heeeeeeeey!
How's your day so far? I'll be reviewing TBS Tea Tree Blemish Gel.I also bought the Tea Tree Clearing Facial Cleanser and I wrote a review too HERE! There also a lot of different products in the "Tea Tree" line.Which are also listed in the link mentioned before.

 Product Discription/Claims:(from the thebodyshop-usa.com)

A handbag essential. Help is at hand with this SOS wand.
  • Targeted care
  • Soothing
  • Instantly cools without over-drying skin
  • Clinically proven to give clearer-looking skin
My Thoughts:
Usually before I buy a product I go online and read the reviews, but for this product I didn't! I learned that you should always do your homework before buying a product! I really hated this product!!
1-It didn't do anything not even reduce the size of my pimple
2-It was 26SR($9) for 2ml(.80 fl oz)
3-Not very hygienic

This is how the applicator looks like

Pros:
NONE

Cons:
~Expensive for very little product
~Not hygienic
~Didn't see any changes in my skin

Review:[SKINFOOD] Black Sugar Scrub Foam

Hey!
So it's 6am and I couldn't fall asleep so I decided to do a review!Today I'll be reviewing Skinfood's Black Sugar Scrub Foam~!

I bought this when I went to a trip to Dubai,UAE with my family I think it was about 75AED($20) for 160g. I also wanted to get the cleansing oil from the same line, but they were sold out! The branch I went to only had a couple of products ! Most of the stuff were sold out :'( </3

Claims & How To Use:
If you cant see because the pic is blurry you can click HERE!

Ingredients:

My Thoughts:
I've heard/read lots of positive reviews about this product so I decided to try it out! It's a cleanser/scrub most people use it as a cleanser, but I use it as a scrub! What I liked about this product is that it gently exfoliates my face with the tiny sugar particles that makes your face feel like a baby's butt afterwords! (Who doesn't want soft skin?)If I wore make up on a certain day I would 1st remove my make up with my Bioderma then use this cleanser/scrub to make sure to get rid of all the dirt and deep cleanse my skin.I also like the scent it has a lemon-y scent, but isn't strong which I really like.Oh and don't let the "foam" part in the products name fool you, because it isn't foamy like a foam cleanser but you can see some bubbles.

It has a brownish beige kind of color with small sugar particles
After I added some water
I zoomed in so you can see the tiny bubbles

Pros:
♥Love the tube! It isn't stiff which makes getting all the product out possible
♥Makes you skin soft afterwords
♥Leaves your face feeling fresh and clean!
♥2in1 can be used as a Cleanser & a Scrub
♥Lemon-y scent

Cons:
♥None

Rating:5/5

Would i repurchase this product?
♥ Absolutely ♥

Have you tried any skinfood products before?

Hope you enjoyed reading my review! Good Night!
